Sweetheart 2005.

Naive Records has released Vincius' new album in Europe and by Koch Records in the US. Recorded in New York, "Cymbals" features 10 original tracks by Vinicius with guest artists including Brad Mehldau, Marc Ribot, David Binney, Erik Friedlander, Jenny Scheinman and Michael Leonhart.
Recorded in Rio de Janeiro and New York, "Silva" features the Bessler String Quartet with arrangements by Eduardo Souto Neto, acclaimed Brazilian percussionists Sidinho and Chacal and Michael Leonhart on trumpet. Long-time collaborator Arto Lindsay co-wrote 3 tracks and provided stellar translations for the rest of the album. Vinicius also teamed up again with Japanese composer Jun Miyake on the punchy tribute to bossa nova The Bridge.
